The d.c. overvoltage relays series DUN are intended for the monitoring of direct voltages used in industrial facilities. Thanks to their low pass filter, they are insensitive to transients and alternating components, often superposed to the nominal voltages.
Through a connection on a resistance shunt, they perform the protection of d.c. overcurrent. A common application is represented by the monitoring of the excitation current in synchronous machines.
