The relay type SVF5740 is intended for the protection of electric lines and machines against line voltage, residual earth voltage, frequency and phase (vector surge)variation; it covers all protection requirements from ENEL DK5740 and many other utilities in application where a network disconnecting relay must be provided.
It can be used as load shedding relay where voltage and/or frequency fluctuations make the network unstable and a black out risk can arise.
